The half-term holiday is nearly here and Ipswich Borough Council has plenty of things to keep youngsters busy and active – whatever the weather.

A fun-packed programme of sport, swimming, art and creativity will be on offer in the town next week.

There are plenty of things the whole family can do together such as trampolining, rollerskating, float sessions and even bird box building.

Ipswich Town Hall will be hosting Bounce and Play, where your children can become super heroes on the Superman castle and go wild in the ball pits and soft play, while the adults take some quiet time in the refreshment zone.

Many activities don’t need to be booked and some are free, such as Bonkers about Bones - a wildlife identification session in the park - and Show and Tell drop-in workshops at Ipswich Museum.

Those who prefer the great outdoors can take part in a ‘bushcraft’ session in Holywells Park, with fire skills and shelter building for 10-16 year olds. If your little one adores Peppa Pig, there are still some tickets left for her live stage show at the Regent Theatre.
