A car skidded and flipped over several times after another car reportedly swerved on the ice and into its path.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash, which happened in Stone Street, Hadleigh, on Monday around 10.45am.

It involved a black Ford Fiesta, the driver of which stated another black coloured car had swerved into their oncoming path and then carried on driving and did not stop.

The driver and passengers sustained minor injuries but were taken to hospital as a precaution.

Any witnesses should call police on 101.
