A WOMAN was freed from a vehicle after it was involved in a two-vehicle crash.
Fire crews were called at about 7.15pm to Park Road, Wivenhoe today (March 21).
On arrival the crews from Wivenhoe and Colchester found a woman trapped in one of the vehicles.
Firefighters used cutting equipment to remove the roof of the vehicle and free the casualty by 8.20pm.
Ambulance staff assessed her condition at the scene.
A police spokesman said the woman had suffered minor injuries.
