A man has approached a group of youngsters to show them a machete he was carrying.

He lifted his rugby top to reveal the machete which had been secured to his waistband, police said.

Officers said the incident happened in Bury Hill, Woodbridge, in the early hours of February 16.

The man is described as white, in his mid 20s, around 6’1”, with short curly brown hair and a small beard.

He was wearing a yellow and blue rugby hooded-top and grey tracksuit trousers.

Anyone with information should call police on 101.
