Woodbridge: CREATE Intelligence joins Lord Livingston on UKTI trade mission

Data analytics specialist CREATE Intelligence is among more than 60 small firms taking part in a five-day trade mission to central and eastern Europe.
The delegation is being led by Trade Minister Lord Livingston who will launch new British Business Centres in Slovakia and Hungary.
The trip forms part of efforts by the Government-backed UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) agency to double trade with central and eastern Europe by 2020.
The delegation of businesses also includes companies from the energy, rail, healthcare, life sciences, retail and security sectors, reflecting some of the highest value opportunities for British businesses in the region.
A core product for Woodbridge-based CREATE Intelligence is Chorus, an analytics platform designed to help the police to clean and standardise raw data from different digital sources, giving detectives the ability to establish links between targets, devices and locations in hours rather than days or weeks.
The new business centres to be opened by Lord Livingston aim to transform the quantity and quality of support available to small and mid-sized UK firms exporting to Slovakia and Hungary.
A British Business Centre opened in Poland last year and others are due to open shortly in the Czech Republic, Romania and Slovenia.
Lord Lord Livingston said: “These are dynamic and exciting growth markets. British firms have doubled trade exports to Eastern and Central European countries in the last ten years, but there is so much more we can achieve.
“By 2020, I want to double exports to this region, so we are ramping up our support for British firms on the ground by opening a network of business centres across the region and increasing the number of trade missions to introduce more British businesses to potential buyers.”
