A man has been injured in a collision in Station Road.

Police were called to the scene at around 4.15pm, after a crash between a car and a person.

The ambulance service were also on the scene, with intial reports of them treating a man with possible broken legs and internal bleeding.

The car involved in the collision was a Vauxhall Corsa, and the man was treated for a broken ankle.

The roadblock on the A12 has been lifted and a woman in a critical condition has been taken to hospital.
