The youngster told officers she was walking with young friends in the Edwin Avenue area of Woodbridge at around 7.20pm on Thursday when they spotted a small silver car with blacked-out windows that they thought was following them.

Officers are keen to speak to the driver of the vehicle although there may be an innocent explanation.

Witnesses or anyone with information should call Pc Clark at Suffolk police on 101.
