Woodbridge: Two crimes at boatyard under investigation

Police are appealing for information after a burglary and a theft at a boatyard in Woodbridge.

The theft happened at the River Wall between 3pm on Sunday and 9am on Monday.

Someone stole a black 4hp Mercury outboard engine from a small yacht on a trailer in the yard. A lock was cut and a cable severed to take the engine.

The burglary then occurred between 2.30pm on Monday and 1pm on Tuesday. Someone broke into a metal container on the same site and stole a blue and black coloured Sealey generator and an a grey Honda outboard engine.

Police are investigating both crimes and are asking anyone with information about the incidents or those responsible to call Pc Jordan on 101.
