Woolpit: Car towing trailer involved in accident on A14

One lane of the A14 eastbound had to be closed following a single-vehicle accident involving a car towing a trailer.

The accident happened at around 1.30pm this afternoon, between Junction 47 (Woolpit) and Junction 48 (Stowmarket).

No one was injured in the crash and no other vehicles were involved.

One lane was shut while police carried out recovery work but it has since reopened.
