Art historian Dr Gavin Grindon worked with the famed artist in a project called The Walled Off Hotel and designing the Museum of Cruel Designs at Weston Super Mare’s Dismaland.

Last week he was joined by students from One to talk about their work, before seeing the students’ work in an exhibition at the university featuring their work on land and sea.

The display gave the artists a crucial chance to experience exhibiting their work.

One art and design teacher Emma Connolly said: “Overall, I was proud of my students and it was great for them to see their efforts in a public forum. To meet a Banksy collaborator was very exciting for our students.

“Who knows, we may have the next Banksy studying at One right now.”
