Former Ipswich Town target Kyle Lafferty has signed for Scottish Premier League side Hearts.

The 29-year-old ex-Norwich City striker has agreed a two-year deal with the Edinburgh club, despite a late attempt from Hibs to take him to Easter Road.

The Northern Ireland international, who has also played for Burnley, FC Sion, Palermo and Birmingham, is keen to help his country qualify for next year’s World Cup and wants to play regular football.
