Bersant Celina has insisted he is enjoying his Ipswich Town learning curve.

Having now forced his way into Mick McCarthy’s starting line-up, the Manchester City loanee has seven Ipswich goals to his name and has become an important part of a Blues side which is the Championship’s second highest scoring.

Celina admitted he is learning some aspects of the game that he has not been asked to do before and is enjoying picking up tips from the club’s senior pros.

“I’m learning a lot of stuff from him now and it’s different to Manchester City because there is a different philosophy but this is something I need right now and I’m in a really good place,” he said.

“As long as you do the defending, in the end you’ll get the ball and have to take the chance and try and do some good staff.

“They are really good players and I look at them every day and I learn from Waggy, I learn from Didzy. There is a lot of players in the team I look up to.

“They are older than me and I try to learn from everyone.”

Celina is particularly enjoying learning from top scorer Martyn Waghorn.

“You can see he is a very talented player and you can see that from the goals he scores,” he said.

“I feel like I need to learn that and if I can get that, score more goals like him, then that will be great.”
