The midfielder has yet to play for the Blues since completing his £1million permanent switch from Cardiff in the summer as he continues to recover from an achilles injury, but recently returned to action for the club’s Under 23 side in their 1-1 draw with Colchester on Monday.

The 24-year-old could potentially be involved in the Blues’ home clash with Preston on Saturday, but has been named in Chris Coleman’s squad for their two upcoming friendlies.

Having missed out on a World Cup play-off spot following their defeat by the Republic of Ireland last month, Wales go to Paris for a clash with France on November 10 before hosting Panama in Cardiff four days later.

Also included in the Wales squad are former Blues’ loanees Jonny Williams and Tom Lawrence.
