With Mildenhall Town without a game but sitting on a nine-point cushion, one of the chasing pack could have a difficult afternoon at Humber Doucy Lane when Ipswich Wanderers host Gorleston.

Wanderers, smarting from two consecutive defeats, are looking to hold on to or improve on their current 10th place.

This is the first of three consecutive games for Wanderers against the sides in pursuit of Mildenhall and three points could push them up a couple of places too.

Brantham Athletic should have a routine win at home against bottom side Swaffham Town, who are virtually relegated. They would need to win their final four games, including this one, by large scores to have a chance of survival.

That looks highly unlikely with the home side on a three-match winning run without conceding a goal and just one defeat in six.

Paul Smith’s Walsham Le Willows side travel to FC Clacton, having secured their Premier Division status for another year.

Just two defeats in their last dozen games have ensured safety, and those losses came against the current top two in the table.

FC Clacton’s hopes of survival are diminishing, they have the worst goal difference of all four sides at the bottom and need at least three wins from their final five games to avoid the drop.

Haverhill Rovers in 16th place host 11th-placed Kirkley & Pakefield, two sides who will be disappointed with seasons that promised much early on

Wivenhoe entertain third-placed Newmarket Town, the Jockeys’ title hopes being ended three weeks ago at Walsham Le Willows. However, Newmarket are still very much in the chase for runners-up spot and should be too strong for a home side who currently occupy the third relegation spot.

Ely City host Great Yarmouth, Stanway Rovers welcome Fakenham and Saffron Walden entertain in-form Thetford.

In Division One, leaders Stowmarket, just a point clear of Haverhill Borough, face a tough home game against free-scoring Woodbridge Town.

Whitton host Downham, Framlingham are at Debenham and Haverhill replay their Suffolk Senior Cup semi-final game with Crane Sports, after last weekend’s abandonment.
