Ryan Giggs has not yet decided if he will participate in the London games
Manchester United star Ryan Giggs has yet to make a decision about whether he would be interested in playing in the Olympics, but hinted he would be interested.
The 38-year-old has proven to still be a key player for last seasons champions and there have been rumours that he could make the British squad for the London games.
I havent thought about the Olympics too much but nearer the time, I am obviously going to have to, Giggs said. First of all, I have to get picked - there are a lot of players vying for 20-odd spots - (and then there) is another obstacle: will it affect Wales in the future?
If it does, then it will be an easy decision for me to make. If it comes to the time when the likes of myself, Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey are picked, it is something we will have to speak to the FAW about, but I hope (it doesnt become an issue).
TICKETS for an evening of Olympic celebration are about to become available, as the fabled flame winds its way across the country towards us.
