RICHARD Stearman tweeted a picture of his severly dislocated finger, before it was put back in place at hospital last night.

The defender suffered the injury after colliding with goalkeeper Stephen Henderson during the Blues’ 2-0 defeat to Watford.

The finger has now been put back in place and Stearman should be fit for Saturday’s showdown at struggling Huddersfield Town.

  • Did either of you goons see him deliberately kicked by a Watford player? No because I very much doubt whether either of you were at the game. It could quite easily have caused a serious injury but he got on with it.

  • Come on EADT a dislocated finger is hardly life threatening let alone being a serious news item. I should hope that RS is fit to play Saturday. A Manchester City goalkeeper, Bert Trautmann in 'the good old days' once played most of a FA Cup Final with a broken neck !
