Local quartet called up for England under-18s

Four St Joseph’s College pupils have been named in the England Under-18s Clubs and Schools squad to face their Irish counterparts, in April.

Flankers, Gabriel Carroll (Sudbury) and Shaquille Meyers (Diss) are joined by Bury St. Edmunds’ winger Chris Lord and Colchester fly half Joe Tarrant.

The squad will play warm-up matches against Northampton Saints Academy on March 11 and Leicester Tigers Academy, on April 8.

The game with Ireland takes place Old Merchant Taylors RFC, in Middlesex, on April 14th.
