The Suffolk Sports Awards were held at a glittering ceremony of Friday evening with European senior karate champion Jack Somers winning the main ‘Sports Personality of the Year award’

Other winners included Lewis Ludlam (rugby) and Lucy Turmel (squash) who shared the Young Sports Personality of the Year award, Felixstowe Hockey Club who picked up the Club of the Year award and Ipswich Basketball Club’s under-16s, who landed the UK Team Performance/Achievement award.
