Three more men have been charged in connection with the Ipswich murder of Trimley father-of-five Dean Stansby.

Tecwyn Parker, 47, from Ipswich and Daniel Kaganda, 23, from London have been charged with murder and conspiracy to murder. Amiadul Islam, 25, from London has been charged with conspiracy to murder.

Today’s charges follow an investigation, led by the Norfolk and Suffolk Joint Major investigation Team, into the fatal stabbing of Dean Stansby.

Grandfather and father-of-five Mr Stansby, 42, died after being stabbed in Ancaster Road, near Ipswich railway station on February 8.

He was described by family as a “larger than life” character.

The investigation into Mr Stansby’s death had already seen charges brought against Jason Ruby, 44, of Risby Close, Ipswich.

Ruby, who was charged last week with murder and conspiring to murder, made his first appearance at Ipswich Crown Court on Tuesday, having already appeared before South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.

No application was made for bail and Judge David Goodin remanded Ruby in custody until the next hearing on November 20.

Andrew Jackson, prosecuting, said a the time three further defendants would be charged in connection with the murder.

The latest three men to be charged are due before South East Suffolk Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
