A few weeks back I blathered on about how much life has been consumed by all things baby in recent times, lamenting how little time I get to enjoy the programmes and trips to the cinema I took for granted.

It started with a fanfare of fuss, focused unnecessarily on the eyebrows of the former Danny Zuko.

He may now be an Oscar winner and ready to take on the box office as the star of this summer’s film adaptation of the BFG, but to many children and their parents he is probably more recognisable for a rather more low-key role.

It’s a world of dreadful puns, over-excited commentary and remote-controlled lumps of metal bashing seven bolts out of one another.
