The people have spoken, choosing The Lion King as the family favourite they’d most like to see the team beind Pop Up Pictures show in Ipswich as part of this year’s Great Outdoor Cinema Club.
Returning to Holywells Park from August 2-4, other choices were Big, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary; Toy Story, close runner-up Jumanji and The Jungle Book.
The boutique cinema company’s gigantic inflatable screen will also be popping up at Elmhurst Park, Woodbridge, July 20-21; Colchester Castle, August 9-11; Abbey Gardens, Bury St Edmunds, August 16-18; Catton Park, Norwich, August 23-26; and Fritton Lake, Great Yarmouth, September 6-8.
Gates will open early so cinema-goers can unwind and enjoy something to eat before the show starts.
More movie titles will be revealed soon with exclusive summer tickets on sale over easter. Pop Up Pictures is also putting together an American style drive-in movie run for the autumn.
