One of the world's largest container ships has docked at the Port of Felixstowe.
MSC Tessa was due to dock on its maiden voyage at about 3pm on Tuesday, but the arrival was pushed back to 5.30pm.
The ship, which measures 400 metres in length, has been pictured arriving on the shores of the Suffolk coast.
Crowds gathered and waited in anticipation for the arrival of the ship.
It is the third largest vessel in the world, with a capacity of 24,118 TEU.
The ship is expected to depart the Port of Felixstowe at about 4am on Friday.
The world's largest ship The Ever Ace is a frequent visitor to the port, with several visits in the last year alone.
The vessel which can carry 23,992 twenty-foot equivalent units, holds the record for the most containers loaded on to a single ship.
It was built in 2021, and docked at Felixstowe on its maiden voyage in September that year.
