Dozens of unsafe swings have been seized at the Port of Felixstowe.
A total of 72 products were detained by the Suffolk Trading Standards Import Surveillance Team.
Tests on the wooden swings concluded that there was a risk of entrapment to users.
The rope adjustment system and the wooden seat both reportedly failed to meet requirements and failures included the risk that a child could entrap their finger.
Other areas of concern included the swings edges which could cause harm if they were to impact the sure.
Following the product seizures, Suffolk Trading Standards is asking consumers to report goods that may be unsafe.
Anyone who wants to make a report should do so via Citizens Advice Consumer Service on 0808 223 1133.
