An Ipswich road which is notoriously used as a rat-run is set to reopen next week after being closed for a month.
Humber Doucy Lane, in the east of Ipswich, has been closed since Monday, February 5 while gas engineers at Cadent carry out urgent works.
The road will be closed until Sunday and reopen to drivers on Monday, according to Suffolk County Council's website.
Ipswich Rugby Club has been advising visitors to avoid the area if travelling to watch games at their Humber Doucy Lane Ground.
A signed diversion route has been in place.
