A Suffolk police officer has been charged in connection with multiple incidents in Essex.
Twenty-eight-year-old Andrew Bedding, from Ipswich, has been charged with three counts of coercive control and one count of theft.
The first offence took place in Witham between January 1, 2018 and July 1, 2019, the second offence happened in Braintree on February 1, 2019 and the third incident took place in Halstead on April 1, 2022.
The theft took place on February 1, 2022 in Basildon.
Bedding is currently suspended from his duties as a police constable.
He is due to appear before Colchester Magistrates' Court for a first hearing on Thursday, April 4.
