The Blue Cross has held its annual dog walk in Felixstowe to raise money for the animal charity.
The walk had been due to take place earlier this year but was cancelled due to poor weather.
The rescheduled event took on a Christmas theme with both dogs and owners dressing up for the occasion.
The one-and-a-half mile event was opened by Felixstowe Mmyor, Nick Barber and his wife Judy, who cut a ribbon opposite the Charlie Manning amusements.
Despite the cold weather Blue Cross’ Eastern regional community fundraising officer Francesca Baisden was pleased with how the event went.
“We had a really good turnout around 80 people attended,” she said adding, “it was great to spread awareness.
“We even spoke to people who had rehomed dogs from the centre along the way.”
The centre hope to continue running the walks in the future.
