Police are investigating a burglary in Ipswich where cash, jewellery and mobile phones were stolen.

The break-in happened sometime between 8am and 4.40pm on Wednesday, October 11 at a home in Stone Lodge Lane, where a window was smashed to gain entry.

A Suffolk police spokeswoman said that cash, a silver Samsung Galaxy mini mobile phone, a blue Samsung Galaxy mobile phone, a wooden jewellery box containing costume jewellery, and other jewellery items were stolen.

Among the jewellery items were opal stud earrings, a diamante chain-link bracelet, Pandora star bangle bracelet and a Pandora double rope bracelet on leather with up to seven charms on it.

It has not yet been disclosed how much the items were worth.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed anything suspicious at the time, or may know of the whereabouts of any of the items stolen to contact them on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
