One of the places he visited was the Ipswich Caribbean Association, a community venue that once stood in Woodbridge Road, where he took part in a number of activities.

Hundreds of school children and local residents lined the town centre streets to welcome Prince Charles to the town, with many waving banners and others hoping for the chance to shake his hand.
