Hundreds of people stepped out on to the streets of Felixstowe as this year’s carnival procession got underway today.
The 2014 event has seen some of the biggest changes to the annual extravaganza in more than a decade, the biggest difference being that the event is moving from Langer Park to the seafront.
The colourful procession started at 1pm today with the theme of Land, Sea and Air. It will be followed by a series of activities and funfair along the seafront today.
Tomorrow, people will be able to enjoy an air show from 12.30pm and a firework display at 9.30pm as part of the festivities.
