Good Samaritans working to help rough sleepers off the streets of Ipswich have expressed their “eternal gratitude” to a business for supporting the cause.
Hudson Group, based in Needham Market, has backed Tiffers The Bus Shelter project, which has seen a double-decker converted into a mobile homeless hostel, from the get-go, providing all of its signage and graphics.
In its latest kind gesture, the company has donated surplus clothing and shoes from its stock for the service users, and also branded uniforms for staff and volunteers.
Sarah Brenland, who runs Tiffers alongside husband Gareth, said: “We are eternally grateful to Hudson, they have been very supportive.”
Joanna Day, marketing communications manager at Hudsons Group, said the firm was “very happy” to support the cause.
The Brenlands also run a secondhand shop in Orwell Place, Ipswich, to raise cash for the bus.
