Students at One sixth form in Ipswich were joined by Essex-based international artist Robert Priseman and deputy mayor Roger Fern for a celebration of the students’ art and fashion work.
Mr Priseman jetted in from Poland for the occasion, helping to dish out 15 awards to top performing students in front of hundreds of gathered visitors. A fashion show also took place.
He said: “At the heart of it all, you (the students) are about to take your next step and that could be quite scary. But at the core of it all I would say be true to yourself. Treat people with dignity and respect and be open and honest. If you have integrity, it will help you go a long way.”
Awards were handed out for most promising student, teacher’s choice and most accomplished student.
Teacher Jake Robson added: “We have the luxury of working with very talented young people who are going to go on to some amazing destinations – so we are very proud they studied with us.”
