A spate of nine thefts and attempted thefts happened in Playford overnight on Thursday, June 12 and Friday, June 13.

A Peugeot and a Ford Galaxy were both broken into and searched whilst parked on a driveway and at the same house the garden shed was broken into and a bicycle was taken from the shed and left in the garden.

A garage and an annex were broken into causing damage to two doors, and a second garage was broken into in Church Lane, although nothing appears to have been stolen from either property.

A spade was stolen after someone entered and searched an outbuilding belonging to a property in Brook Lane, and a second spade that was not owned by the residents was discovered in the outbuilding.

A Samsung mobile phone was stolen after a Renault Clio was entered and searched, and outbuildings at the property were also entered although nothing appears to have been stolen.

A silver and white iPad mini in a pink fuchsia flip case was stolen after someone broke into the property through the patio door.

Someone attempted to break into a garden shed at a property in The Courts, however it is thought that they were disturbed when the alarmed padlock on the shed sounded.

A Toyota Rav 4 was entered and searched at a property – with nothing being stolen from inside.

And an outbuilding was broken into causing damage to the door although nothing was taken at a property in Church Lane.
