Heavy rain with possible hail and thunder is forecast for Suffolk and north Essex over the coming days.
Forecasters at Weatherquest say today will remain dry and sunny until around 5pm this afternoon when a band of rain is expected to hit the region.
Weatherquest’s Dan Holley said: “Winds will pick up and clouds thicken after what is quite a sunny morning.
“Rain in the evening will take some time to clear, possibly until late Tuesday morning.”
Mr Holley said tomorrow was likely to be a “really blustery day” with showers, including possible hail and thunder, as well as winds of up to 35mph.
“It’s going to seem more like April, with showers and blustery wind,” he added.
Temperatures are expected to reach highs today of 17-19C, which is around average for the time of year. Tomorrow is expected to be a little cooler, feeling more chilly with the wind.
