People living in Ipswich and Colchester are being invited to learn more about new cultures with a series of storytelling and percussion workshops.

Arts La’Olam, based in Ipswich, is hosting a six-week programme ending on July 8 with the help of two professional African artists, Griot Chinyere and Abass Dodoo.

Children and adults of all abilities are invited to the workshops to experience Nigerian and Ghanian heritage storytelling, alongside percussion and drumming.
