Suffolk New College is launching its summer programme of sports sessions for youngsters this week.

The five weeks of sessions begin on Tuesday and run until Friday, August 25, with basketball, badminton, table tennis and trampolining among the sports on offer.

Most classes are for those aged between five and 13, although a number of baby bounce classes for those aged under five have also been laid on over the five weeks.

Sports centre manager, Trudy Sharman, said: “Our summer activities for children are always very popular.

“All the sessions are based around having fun, but they will also help youngsters potentially gain new skills and stay healthy throughout the long summer holidays.

“The sports centre is also open for casual use.”
