Pupils from Whitton Community Primary School have been out in Ipswich selling Indian recipe cards - with a packet of spices to add a kick to the dish.
As a part of a topic about conservation in India, year 5 pupils took part in an Indian cooking workshop before writing and recipe cards for a host of Indian curries.
The children decorated each recipe card before measuring out the vital spices needed to create the perfect spicy curry.
On Monday the children hit the streets of Ipswich, selling their culinary secrets for £2 each raising £737.07 for the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) charity.
Class teacher Lizzie Davies said: “It’s been fantastic to see the children so eager to raise money for a great cause.
“They’ve worked really hard on their recipe cards and should be very proud of what they’ve achieved.
“It was lovely so see them so confident and polite when selling their cards to the public.”
