Felixstowe Musical Theatre is looking for youngsters to take part in its Mini Musicality show.

Around 15-20 boys and girls, aged 16 or under, are wanted for the juniors only production which will be staged at Trimley Memorial Hall, July 20-21.

The show will feature singing and dancing, possibly including Bugsy Malone and Hans Christian Andersen sections.

Rehearsals would take place at the Trimley Welcome Hall, Trimley St Mary, on Mondays, Thursdays and maybe some Sundays.

The first get together is taking place on Monday, January 29, 7pm-9pm, at the hall.

FMT started in 1966 as an evening class under the auspices of the Adult Education Centre. Its first production, Salad Days, was so successful the next show, Free as Air, was staged at Felixstowe’s Spa Pavilion. It then decided to become an independent venture.

A member of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association, previous productions include The 80s Experience, Dick Whittington, Half A Sixpence, Annie and The Baker’s Wife.
