Therese Coffey, the MP for Suffolk Coastal, has lended her support to Woodbridge’s Great British High Street Awards bid.

Dr Coffey recently met with business owners in the Thoroughfare including footwear specialists John Ives.

“I’m really thrilled that Woodbridge has been shortlisted for this year’s Great British High Street awards, said Dr Coffey.

“This is testament to the work of Choose Woodbridge, the range of independent shops and the hard work of their owners who do so much to make the Thoroughfare such a success.”

Judges visited The Thoroughfare a few weeks ago to how it measures up to against its national competition.

Part of the final decision, however, is down to a public vote.

To vote for Woodbridge post a message on social media –either on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram – using the hashtags #GBHSWoodbridge and #MyHighStreet.
For the vote to be counted you must use both hashtags.
