SOMEBODY'S Daughter received a massive boost from a charity auction at Ipswich School which raised more than £5,000.
The auction was organised by 21-year-old University of East Anglia student Emma Brown from Fonnereau Road who felt she had to do something after Steve Wright's reign of terror at the end of 2006.
She said: “I was living in the town centre and it really was quite scary. I was determined to do something to help the charity and I am delighted it proved so successful.
“We had 72 lots and Ipswich School offered premises free of charge because I am a former pupil there. It was a wonderful event.”
