Cafes in Suffolk which support people with dementia and their families have won a £10,000 grant to improve the service.
The Synergy Cafes, run by Sue Ryder, provide education, information and practical advice in order to help people live well and cope with the condition.
Jo Marshall, neurological centre director at Sue Ryder, said staff were pleased the centre had been recognised for having achieved “outstanding success”.
The cafes are in locations, including Ipswich, Felixstowe, Stowmarket, Chelmondiston and Hadleigh.
The money has come from Suffolk County Council in partnership with the Suffolk Community Foundation.
