AROUND 1,000 new jobs look set to be created in Suffolk. Plans for a 50-acre business park, a spin-off from the £300million Snoasis project, are due to be announced tomorrow.

AROUND 1,000 new jobs look set to be created in Suffolk. Plans for a 50-acre business park, a spin-off from the £300million Snoasis project, are due to be announced tomorrow.

Providing a massive boost to the Ipswich to Cambridge hi-tech corridor, the park is earmarked for land alongside the proposed winter sports complex and interest has already been registered from a number of companies.

Godfrey Spanner, director of Onslow, which owns the former Blue Circle cement works, revealed an American organisation was among those interested in moving to the site.

"It just keeps getting better," he said.
