13-year-old girl accosted

DETECTIVES in Ipswich are investigating the accosting in the town of a 13-year-old girl.The incident happened at around 1.30pm on Sunday when the girl was cycling close to the junction at Argyle Street and St.

DETECTIVES in Ipswich are investigating the accosting in the town of a 13-year-old girl.

The incident happened at around 1.30pm on Sunday when the girl was cycling close to the junction at Argyle Street and St. Helens Street, Ipswich.

A police spokesman said that a 17-year-old male has been arrested and further enquiries are continuing in relation to this incident but they are anxious to hear from a male driver of a green car and a man and woman travelling in a red car.

They were not involved in the incident but were seen at the time and may prove to have vital information.
