20-year-old killed in Suffolk car crash

POLICE have today named the man killed in a crash in Lowestoft.

He is 20-year-old Wayne Smith, who lived in the town in Harps Close.

Mr Smith died after the car he was travelling in left the road and hit a tree in Spashett Road on Saturday night.

Mr Smith died after the car he was travelling in left the road and hit a tree in Spashett Road on Saturday night.

The dead man was one of two people in a Subaru car and had to be released by fire fighters from the town who were called to the scene at 7.30pm.

He was taken to the James Paget Hospital in Gorleston but was pronounced dead on arrival.
