Another American candy store is set to open in Ipswich town centre, which will be the third store of this type announced or opened within a matter of months.

The shop will be located on the corner of Upper Orwell Street and Orwell Place, opposite the Spread Eagle pub.

Signs have gone up around the outside with the words American Candy and Mexican Candy, and posters advertising sweets, chocolate and vapes.

This is the third shop selling American sweets in the town to either be announced or opened within the last three months.

Back in July, signs were seen in Carr Street in Ipswich for a new convenience store, which has since opened.

Just last week, it was also announced that a ground floor letting had been agreed for an American candy store to open in the former House Group's Company headquarters, also in Carr Street.

It is unknown when the store in Orwell Place is set to open, with work being done internally to get the shop ready.
