A travel shop has downsized its Ipswich branch, leaving a large premises vacant in the town centre.
Tui has closed its large Upper Brook Street branch recently, with the holiday shop remaining in its smaller branch in 58 Tavern Street, just around the corner.
The Tavern Street unit has been undergoing refurbishment recently ahead of this closure, with Tui having this branch since 2009.
This means the shop, which helps people with booking holidays and exchanging money, has left its much larger Upper Brook Street unit, which it has been operating in alongside the Tavern Street branch since 2014.
The closure of this branch adds to the list of empty shops in Upper Brook Street, with a number having closed over the past year.
This includes Hughes, Rush Hair, Hearing Clinic Centre and Shuropody.
Wilko also closed in the street last October, but the store was taken over by the budget retailer Poundstretcher at the start of this year.
