Join the Scouts and Guides to help celebrate their 80th year! This year’s celebration show ends its run on Saturday.

A lively and vibrant show, it will be performed by a cast of more from Ipswich and the surrounding areas.

Glitter Room is Katherine’s first UK tour since Kathbum, which included runs at the Edinburgh Festival. the Melbourne International Comedy Festival and the Just For Laughs Festival in Montreal.

Ipswich Wildlife Watch Group invites youngsters aged six to 12 to a special wildlife morning in Holywells Park between 10am and noon.

The group needs help maintaining and extending its wildflower plots. This event is free but needs to be booked in advance.

Holywells Park is also the venue for a Young Wardens event, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm.

Joey Essex, star of The Only Way Is Essex, is visiting Ipswich to open a kebab restaurant in the town.

He will be at the official opening of the new German Doner Kebab restaurant, handing out free kebabs and posing for photos.

Talented youngsters from CBM Theatre Company take the stage at the Spa again with Disney’s High School Musical, following last year’s hit shows Rock of Ages and Avenue Q.

Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen and re-imagined by 2Faced Dance Company, the show presents a magical journey through the night. Young Jack opens his bedroom curtains to find a familiar face, the Moon, which teaches him how to be brave.

May the force be with you on this family-friendly fun day! Special guests include Peter Davison of Dr Who and Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy fame, Terry Molloy who played Davros in Dr Who and Pam Rose, who appeared in Star Wars, Space 1999, Superman and Batman.

The event will be spread over two floors, with a whole range of attractions, a kids’ art and craft area, and cosplay competitions, There will also be traders with tons of geeky toys, comics, collectables, art and jewellery.

An Audience With Ian Waite & Oti Mabuse – Rhythm of the Night, Corn Exchange

Get set for an extravaganza of high intensity Latin and Ballroom favourites, performed by Strictly Come Dancing dance professionals Ian and Oti.

Ian and Oti always push the boundaries of dance to bring the best out of their celebrity partner. Both have reached the finals, and last season it was Oti who almost waltzed off with the Glitterball with her partner, Hollyoaks’ Danny Mac.
