An 89-year-old Felixstowe man has admitted driving at 99mph on the A14 at Ipswich.
Eric St John-Foti, of Brook Lane, Felixstowe, pleaded guilty by post at South East Suffolk Magistrates Court to speeding.
St John-Foti, who was aged 88 at the time of the offence on December 18, was travelling in a Lexus LS 600H when caught by a speed camera at 10.50am. Magistrates ordered five penalty points be put on his licence.
He was also fined £250, ordered to pay £85 costs and £25 to the victims’ fund.
