TWO men are being hunted today after targeting a 97-year-old woman in a distraction burglary in the Framlingham area.The incident, at around 2pm, happened in Apsey Green although it is not known at present whether anything was stolen.
TWO men are being hunted today after targeting a 97-year-old woman in a distraction burglary in the Framlingham area.
The incident, at around 2pm, happened in Apsey Green although it is not known at present whether anything was stolen.
A red Peugeot 405 is believed to have been used by the two men. Officers launched a search of the area and located the vehicle on the A1120 at Badingham.
One man is described as white, aged between 35 and 40, about 5ft6inc tall with short black greasy hair, acne and of scruffy appearance. He is thought to have been wearing a dark shirt and dark trousers and had an Irish accent.
The second man is white and believed to be in his 30s.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the Badingham and Framlingham area today, and particularly anyone who may have seen the vehicle or the men, to contact Leiston CID on 01473 613500 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
