A12 accident - injured to be airlifted

TRAFFIC on the A12 has today been disrupted by a road accident near Darsham Railway Station.

TRAFFIC on the A12 was been disrupted by a road accident in the yard of Darsham railway station.

Emergency services were called to the accident at around 5.45pm yesterday where a lorry was in collision with a pedestrian.

Suffolk police were expected to send out the force helicopter to airlift an injured 48-year-old man to Ipswich Hospital. His injuries were internal but not believed to be life-threatening.
