TWO men were taken to hospital after a car careered off the road and up the embankment on the A12.

A maroon Toyota Avensis was travelling towards Copdock at 11.20am yesterday when it left the road and crashed into bushes.

The men were taken to Ipswich Hospital with back pain but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The accident happened around 200 yards before the Copdock interchange roundabout. Traffic was disrupted but was running freely again by 12.30pm.
